16 Feb hokkien visit :D

ysd we went for our hokkien visits! this time there was a new elderly at e 7th floor, so weijian wilson n i went to her door n knocked for a while b4 someone finally answered. e auntie tot we were selling stuff n kept saying dunwan so in e end we din manage to step inside her hse at all :(

den, we went to e blind sisters hse. for e first time e tv was on.e younger sis was listening to wang jin nian hua at a reali loud volume. she has a reali bad cough, e dry type, bt she reali dun lik to see doctor or take medicine. bt she seems so xinku cos she kept coughing aft every few sentences. During our conversation she mentioned abt some of e older volunteers, n asked y nw lik nv reali hear fr them alr. weijian couldn’t accept e fact tt she still doesnt rmb his name. haha. he sae he visit her continuously for two yrs alr, bt she sae our voice all sound e same to her :(

wilson was talking to e elder sis.i dun reali noe wad they talking abt bt she seems q agitated at certain parts.wilson wad hv u done?hee jus kidding.i tink talking abt her son n daughter in law. e two sisters will lik argue,e elder sis will kp sayin e younger sis so picky w food cos she onli eats rice strictly no beehoon. bt we still lik visiting them.e younger sister always laugh :)

den we went to visit uncle lee! hm we asked him wad kind of songs he lik,he mentioned bai guang n some others tt we reali dun rmb or heard of.wilson still asked me is bai guang a male or female lo.den duno y we started talking abt religious rites. Uncle lee is so chatty n easy to talk to. Just hv to ask him one qns den he’ll start talking a lot alr :)

Swe Swe's farewell + Weiching's 22nd bday

Swe Swe, our petite Welfare IC will be flying for Melbourne. Being Samaritans by nature, the Committee (namely those exempted from duties in Ethelonter V) decided to pay for her last meal in Singapore.

Okay I lied. She will only be leaving on a jetplane on Sun 10 Feb. It appears she managed to have breakfast the next morning too.

How did such a cute girl appear in LB? Sin En thought that I had recruited her from CSC Day 2007! (Sin En has a really negative impression of me..) The fact is Swe Swe was my tutorial mate in Year 1. I heard from a common friend that she's always on the Dean's list (not the black one). Pretty impressive stuff that anti-theorises "Big brain = Smart".

I had tried inviting a few friends to do community service because I believe one cannot be of much help. I was rejected with reasons (or should I say excuses?) such as "I don't have the time" & "I would rather spend the time earning money". They made me wonder whether we are friends. I gave up inviting other friends to shut the rejection.

On a rather surprising day, Swe Swe came up to me (online) to ask about LB. I brought her to the CSC Day 2007. As usual, some thought that I had changed my girlfriend again. Zzz.. Ultimately, she joined. I told her no one wanted to be in the committee so we had a go at it.
