The Mini Visit On 02 Jun 2007

Not much. haha... I mean, not many volunteers came.

There was a new volunteer called Yvonne, from Chem Yr2 (going Yr3). Let's all welcome her!!! *streamers falling down*

Yvonne is hokkien speaking, so she followed me to go to Uncle Lee's and Blind Sisters'. Uncle Lee still looked OK. In fact, I think he looked got 'more blood' than the last time I saw him (which I think was half a yr ago bah...). He still complained of the same health problems, except that the regular, expensive medication managed to keep his health from deteriorating.

After that, we went to visit Blind Sisters'. The elder sis was lying on her bed and she complained that she's in a lot of pain and couldn't move about. The younger sis complained about the weather etc. They too, looked good. Though I can't really say about the elder sis cos I didn't really talk to her cos she was hard of hearing. Most of the time, I didn't know if she couldn't hear me or couldn't understand my half-bucket-full hokkien...

Mei Mei reached at about 4pm after her work. Since she was so attached to the blind sisters, we prolonged the visit so that she could spend quality time with them *cue music*.

Oh yah, the younger sis said she was sick of the ONE hokkien CD Liangyu gave her (and hiam the CD dat Mei Mei gave her) and hoped to have more. If you guys are able to download or get your hands on some CDs, please do contribute. No need to especially buy for them, k? Can Liangyu tell us what kind of hokkien songs you got for her? cos I suspect she don't like the more modern hokkien songs bah. Any clues??

yah, that was the part for the hokkien visit. Perhaps Vic can append his visit??

And yah, the committee met up after the visit \o/ We still meet one, k? Planned for the elections for the new comm, so you guys wait for the news of opening up of the elections bah ;P
