Visit after the exams

VISIT AFTER THE EXAMS 07/08

Haiz.. Visit was quite sad today. One of the blind sisters (the elderly who is partially blind) is hospitalised since 2 weeks ago, cause she had a fall, and injured her leg, so in Alexandra Hospital now. She will have operation also. Heard that she fell while going toliet, and both of the sisters fell. At least one of them isn't injured. And there are people helping to deliver food to her everyday, so don't have to worry about her meals. But we could see that she was quite lonely, cause she talked more today. But the sisters do communicate through phone calls, so at least she's updated.

Uncle Lee is also having trouble walking, cannot even go downstairs, so he's quite bored at home. While chatting, Yu Pei told me that he saw Auntie crying, but we have no idea why, cause Uncle Lee was just talking about the usual stuff about his visit to the hospital. Really wondered why she cried..

I also heard that Uncle Yeo will be going for operation cause of his intestine. This will be some time in July.

It's really sad seeing the elderly growing weaker by the day, especially when you visit the same elderly often. How can we console them? Really lost for words sometimes, when they talk about their health. But at least there's someone to talk to them. Pray that they will get well soon, or at least their condition don't worsen.
