Visit on 13 Sep 2008

Since our new volunteers have not post any entry, I shall have the honor of blogging on LB On The Blog. The visit on 13 Sep is the second regular visit of this sem. We gathered at our favorite void deck corner before separating into the respective dialect groups.

Canto Group had made plan to paint High Level Canto Auntie’s home, but she was not in again. Sin en if you are reading this, I am sorry I failed you.

Many of the Cantonese speaking elderly is not at home. Hopefully it’s because Mid Autumn Festival is round the corner and our elderly is spending time with their love ones.

Nevertheless, we found our refuge at Chong Por Por’s home. Her friend, the ever smiling Kuan Por Por was also there. We did some cleaning, ate some food, watched blurred telly and talked about a lot of things. The swelling in Chong Por Por’s legs have returned. She taught us to eat healthily. She talked about her mother. She still encouraged us to study hard. Perhaps this is moving towards the Next Level that some of us are striving for.

On a different note, LB is having the Post-MAF celebration on 27 Sep. Im sure it will be great fun!
