X'mas Celebrations 06

With less than a week to Christmas, we celebrated our Chirstmas with our Ls on the 17th Dec, and we were also joined by a few new volunteers. Also, our 2 new hosts for the day were Victor and Sin En. Though new to this. they were able to help bring up the mood for the celebrations.

We kicked off the event with 2 BINGO games, and yup, still 5 in a row to win.

Next up was 'Zhong Qi Mi Ma', whereby the Ls are supposed to guess a secret number. We started off with 3 numbers, but they had some difficultly understanding the game. Hence we redued the number to 2, and eventually 1. Of course, then they guessed the numbers without problem.

After this a memory game was played. Ls were shown 3-5 pairs of colors, and after that, the colours were covered, the Ls had to remember which colour was behind which number. They had no problem with guessing 1 pair of colours, and thus the difficulty was increased, with them having to guess 2 pairs of matching colours.

Finally was lucky draw. Cardboards were placed underneath the winners' tables and the winners got to choose their prizes randomly.

After this we announced our new initiative, LB Diary! After the visits, LBians can write their feelings or almost anything else in the diary. This allows us to share our thoughts with each other, and eventually helping to bond ourselves together and making LB a better place!

Overall, all of had a great time. Thanks, everyone for coming down to help to make the event a success.
