Hokkien's Group Visit on 21/10/06

As usual, we met at 2 at block 3. Tan Ching was telling us that for the Christmas celebrations (on 16 Dec), most prob will have people singing in pairs. So those interested, please do let him know. So, we had 12 people, and were divided into 4 groups. Usually there will be more than just 2, but this time was just me and Tze Hwee for the Hokkien group.

So we visited Uncle Lee 1st, and he told us he was hospitalized for 4 days 3 nites, but the doc didn't really say why. He is feeling better now, but the haze is making his asthma worse, and his appetite isn't so good. As per normal, he did most of the talking, and Mdm Law was not spared again (yup, he usu complains about her not taking good care of them). And we also talked about coffee making, and also about some farms he had visited. Good thing Tze Hwee was around, cause i didn't really understand some of the parts he was saying. He will also be going to the docs again next month (muz rem to ask him).

Next, we visited blind sisters. Her sister, was sleeping, as usual. When we visted her, she said that there were some visitors in the morning. But she doesn't know where they are from. (Hmph.. I really wonder who they are) We talked about stuff like the haze, the recent festivals, TV programs, and the Maf celebrations as well. but she said she did not manage to eat the mooncakes. (But according to Tze Hwee, got people asked her (maybe she forgot? hrm..)) Oh ya, again she also mentioned how her sister got lost in the coffee shop. Of course, there were parts that we didn't understand cause she spoke quite quickly. So we just 'ya' and 'erm' through. Must brush up on our Hokkien. haha..

Then we waited for the others and Victor's group took the longest cause they were helping to spring-clean one of the elderly's house. After that was our BBS (Befrienders Bonding Session) at the coffee shop. I heard that Suan Hong took some photos with his new handphone and there were some comments too.. (wonder if he will upload them? :P)

Anyway, we have a visit again next week, 28 Oct. Dun forget to come!
